Erin Price, Preventing Human Trafficking
Erin
Price, intern at Eastern NC Stop Human Trafficking Now, spoke to Beaufort
County Early College High School's Interact Service Club about ways to prevent
human trafficking in their community on March 11, 2014. Price spoke about
the hidden dangers of social media and cyberbullying.
At the end
of the presentation Lony Romero Rochin, a freshmen at the early college,
presented her documentary on the history of human trafficking. The documentary will be used in future
presentations to help inform the public about the dangerous of human
trafficking.
“I saw the
documentary Half the Sky and it inspired me to what to learn more,” said
Rochin. “I hoped my documentary will make other students aware of this hidden
danger.”
