American-German Exchange Program
One of my favorite things about fall is the yearly visit of German students to Eastern NC. For the past 35 years, German students spend a couple of weeks with families in Martin County. Since I no longer teach in Martin County I try to help out where I can.
On Thursday three German students visited my classes. The three girls Ania, Lynn, and Emily were a delight and were good natured about all the questions my students had for them. It never fails to amaze me how much we all have in common.
